Make an outstanding art vase by using the drop out method.  First we will learn how to make a “blank” of glass.  Discussions will include types of glass, arrangement of glass, and layers.  Please plan on spending between 1.5 to 3 hours building the blank.    After the glass is fused, each student will make an appointment to attend the kiln while the glass is heated to the point where the glass stretches or drops through the hole.  You get to determine how much and how long the glass “drops!”  Stands for your project are available for purchase based on dimensions of your vase.
