This is a fast paced class designed to teach you the professional skills needed to enjoy creating stained glass.  No skimping on knowledge in this class - we teach the methods that we use to create our custom windows for homes, business, and churches.

We will be working with the copper foil method to learn stained glass skills.  We start out with safety first and proceed in a linear fashion from cutting glass to a finished project.  No need to buy a kit or tools since you will learn by using our equipment.  The only things you will need for the first class are a comfortable pair of athletic shoes and an enthusiasm for learning.  If you have a good pair of safety glasses, bring them with you.  If not, we sell many brands of safety glasses including glasses with reading lenses built in.

Each class runs three to four hours.  The actual time in class will be used learning stained glass skills.  Please plan for extra time in the classroom in order to complete your assignment before the next class.

We limit this class to 6 students so that each student receives the attention needed to gain full knowledge and understanding.  There are plenty of tools for each student and ample space for learning.  You will complete two projects in this class.

Our instructors are serious about the stained glass arts.  They are up-to-date on the latest information and skills available.   Several times a year our main instructor, Rebecca Hite, takes classes from Masters around the country in order to bring you the best information from the Stained Glass Industry.

NOTICE:  The majority of time in class is dedicated to lecture and learning.  You will be expected to spend time outside of class to complete the assignment before the next scheduled class.  You are encouraged to use the classroom to do your homework.

Warning:  Any pregnant, soon to be pregnant, or nursing women are not allowed in any class in which lead, solder, or chemicals are used.
