4 Sessions - $125.00
Student must have completed the our Professional Methods Stained Glass course.
You have the basic stained glass skills. Now you can apply those skills to learn the centuries old lead came method. You will make a hanging panel ~3 sq feet. The project will be constructed with traditional lead and putty method. You will have the option of completing a second project that will be built with No Days Glaze Lead.
Our first session is devoted to lecture and picking out your project. The second session is all about planning and learning to "lead". Soldering on lead and planning your next project is the focus of the third class. The fourth class will be by appointment after you are ready to putty your project.
Our instructors are serious about the stained glass arts. They are up-to-date on the latest information and skills available. Several times a year our main instructor, Rebecca Hite, takes classes from Masters around the country in order to bring you the best information from the Stained Glass Industry. NOTICE: The majority of time spent in class is dedicated to lecture and learning. You will be expected to spend time outside of class to complete the assignment before the next scheduled class. You are encouraged to use the classroom to do your homework.
Warning: Any pregnant, soon to be pregnant, or nursing women are not allowed in any class in which lead, solder, or chemicals are used.
