Cabochons:  From Blanks to Beautiful!

Includes all materials – especially the Dichroic!

Get used to strangers stopping you to ask where you got that gorgeous necklace!  You will make as many cabochons as you can get from a 5" x 5" blank.  Keep them all for yourself or give them as gifts that will be remembered for years.

Students will learn how to create a dichroic blank with two or more layers.  In the second session, learn how to map out the shapes and use a ring saw to cut your shapes.  Each student is allowed 15 minutes of saw time to cut out the shapes.  More time can be scheduled for a small fee.  The shapes will then be fire polished in preparation for the final class where you will learn wire wrapping techniques.  This is a class that you will want to repeat as the holidays get closer and many of your family and friends indicate that "one of those necklaces" is on their wish list!
