Get a taste of stained glass with this course.  This class is for people who would like to try the stained glass arts but are not sure they want to commit the time required for the Professional Methods Class.  All work is done during class as you learn the basics of stained glass.  There will be one project made in the copper foil method.

We start with safety first and proceed in a linear fashion from cutting glass to a finished project.  No need to buy a kit or tools since you will learn by using our equipment.  The only things you will need for the first class are a comfortable pair of athletic shoes and an enthusiasm for learning.  If you have a good pair of safety glasses, bring them with you.  If not, we sell many brands of safety glasses including glasses with reading lenses built in.

Each class runs three to four hours.  There will be ample time in each class to complete your project.  We limit this class to 6 students so that each student receives the attention needed to complete their project.

Warning:  Any pregnant, soon to be pregnant, or nursing women are not allowed in any class in which lead, solder, or chemicals are used.
